Tiddy Bear

How to Use

How it works

Snap. Slide. Smile.

No tools and no fuss. These are real clips from the original Tiddy Bear commercial.

  1. Snap it on

Wrap the bear around the shoulder belt and snap it closed. Done in seconds.

  2. Slide it

Move it up or down to the spot where the belt bugs you most.

  3. Smile

Soft, cushy and way cuter than a plain strap. Every ride, every car.

Quick check after you attach it: the belt should still move, lock and retract normally and sit where your vehicle maker says. Full how to use guide

Tiddy Bear Comfort Strap was created to make wearing a seat belt more comfortable. It straps onto the shoulder belt and can be positioned where you need softness the most, helping provide a gentle cushion between the seat belt and sensitive areas of the shoulder or chest. Please read these steps before you use it.

Important: comfort accessory only. Tiddy Bear is a comfort accessory only. It is not a child restraint, booster seat, seat belt positioning device, or crash protection device. Always wear the vehicle seat belt according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions. Remove the product if it interferes with proper seat belt fit, retraction, locking, buckling, or operation. How to use it correctly

Putting it on

  1. Open the attachment on the back of the bear.
  2. Position the Tiddy Bear around the shoulder portion of the seat belt: the part that crosses your shoulder and chest. Never the lap belt.
  3. Secure the attachment.
  4. Position it for comfort, for example near the shoulder, collarbone or upper chest, wherever the belt feels uncomfortable.
  5. Verify that the seat belt still lies correctly, flat, snug, untwisted and on your shoulder, as your vehicle manufacturer directs.
  6. Verify normal retraction and locking. Pull the belt out and let it go back. It should slide, lock and retract just as it did before.
  7. Never place it over the buckle or latch plate.
  8. Remove it immediately if it affects seat belt operation or fit.

Always

  • Keep it off the buckle, the latch plate and the lap belt.
  • Keep it away from the retractor (where the belt winds in), the pretensioner and the seat belt height adjuster.
  • It must not stop the belt from retracting, push the belt off your shoulder, or hold the belt away from your body.
  • Remove it right away if it changes how the seat belt fits or works.
  • Check the belt position each time you buckle up.

Moving it

You can slide the bear along the shoulder belt to a comfortable spot, as long as it stays clear of the buckle, latch plate, retractor and height adjuster, and the belt stays in its correct position.

Children

We are finalizing age guidance with our testing lab and will post it here before orders open. Children must always ride in the car seat, booster seat or seat belt that is right for their age, weight and height, as directed by the car seat and vehicle manufacturers. The Tiddy Bear does not change that.

Cleaning and care

Care instructions will be posted here before orders open.
